Silkidrangar is the full length debut album of Icelandic trio Samaris, released on One Little Indian.

Samaris strikes again with this rather beguiling debut, sticking to the same icy incessant synth lines and haunting electronica, pagan folk melodies and that unique special, spectral, skeletal Samari sounds with less contrasting top and bottom ends, moodier and slower moving. And that mournful clarinet motifs.

Mastered by Mandy Parnell at Black Saloon Studios, the overall sound quality of this black vinyl release is slightly less impressive as their 2xEP self-titled compilation album on clear vinyl, but this is a much quieter pressing.

However, it is a stunning record and an excellent pressing in its own right.
